There will be a hint of nostalgia when Akshay Kumar's Welcome releases.In this Anees Bazmee film, the name of the character he plays is called Rajiv. Now as all his fans and film followers would be aware, Akshay's real name of Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia. Hence it would be real life meeting reel life when his Akshay gets all set to tickle your funny bone once this Firoz Nadiadwala film hits the screens.
For the uninitiated, Welcome would be just the third instance when Akshay's on screen name is Rajiv/Rajeev. While Anil Sharma's Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo (2004) had him playing Major Rajeev, it was way back in 1994 when he appeared as Rajiv in Raj Sippy's Ikke Pe Ikka.
