Before he would further steps down Shahrukh Khan was impressed by shankar so much that he not only accepted to act in it but was also ready to produce under his Red Chillies Entertainment banner, these all happened after listening to one line script of the movie..

Shankar announced media about the start of the project by jan 2008 and has completed and send the full script in english to Shahrukh khan for approval. Shankar says that contrary to media reports that Shahrukh had expressed discontent over the script, the actor had only opined he didn’t fit into certain scenes and has hence turned down the idea of doing the film.
