Mallika Sherawat will attempt to match the magic of Madhuri Dixit in her upcoming film Welcome .While the Sherawat girl doesn’t stand much chance of equaling Madhuri’s acting skills, she can come close to matching her sex appeal. This, Mallika has done by paying a tribute to Madhuri’s cult track Choli Ke Peechhey Kya Hai from Subhash Ghai’s ‘Khalnayak’.
Yes, ‘Welcome’ has a song that has been conceptualized on Madhuri’s hit song from the nineties.
The new song is different from the old one in terms of melody and lyrics. But it has the same raunchy flavour to it and has been picturized in the same way.
The number shows Mallika gyrating in a sexy outfit. Even the film’s main cast – Akshay Kumar , Katrina Kaif , Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor – are a part of this song.
Now it remains to be seen whether the song creates as much curiosity and attracts as many eyeballs as Madhuri’s song did many years ago.
