The superstar of Bollywood has every reason to celebrate as the year that gave him two hit films draws to a close.2007 has been a superb year for Shah Rukh Khan with both his films Chak De India and Om Shanti Om turning blockbusters. Now, the star has gone to Goa along with his family and close friends to usher in 2008.
The usual suspects joining SRK are Karan Johar and Arjun Rampal with his wife Mehr and two kids. Actor Jackie Shroff is also in Goa but it is not clear if he would join the party with the SRK gang.
The rush of Bollywood celebrities to Goa has particularly increased after the anti-SEZ protests were called off in the state.
While it goes without saying that SRK and friends would party on the night of 31 December, the stars might avoid moving outdoors for the fear of being mobbed by fans.
Not just film stars, even television actors from Balaji serials are in Goa for the New Year’s party.
