Ashwani Dhir , the director of recently released One Two Three wants to cast Darsheel Safary in his next film.
Even though his latest film has opened to bad critical reviews and an average opening at the box-office, Ashwani Dhir is already occupied with his next directorial venture, tentatively titled ‘Dedh’ (One and a half).
The movie will be made by Sunil Shetty ’s production company Popcorn Entertainment. Dhir and Shetty apparently developed such a rapport while working together in ‘One Two Three’ that the latter decided to produce Dhir’s next project.
Sanjay Dutt has already been finalized to play the leading role. Now, Dhir wants Darsheel to play a kid in the film. The movie is reportedly a comedy about a man and a kid, hence the title ‘Dedh’.
Dutt, being a friend of Shetty, has expressed his interest in the project but his dates have yet to be sorted out.
Meanwhile, efforts are on to get Darsheel aboard.
Let’s see if the little wonder gives his nod.
