Apparently the on going shoot for the film Singh is Kinng has run into trouble with the Sikh locals in Australia. The problem is that they feel that the turban is inappropriately worn. However the director Vipul was heard saying that as Akshay is a Punjabi himself he won’t make such a mistake and there is a local Sikh helping with the turban. He later adds that the film is supposed to portray the Sikh’s as kings and is not intended to hurt or marginalize any community. Friday, November 23, 2007

Apparently the on going shoot for the film Singh is Kinng has run into trouble with the Sikh locals in Australia. The problem is that they feel that the turban is inappropriately worn.
