Raj Kumar Hirani's next film will be 'Idiots'

He's the man who's literally made Munnabhai a cult movie and a household name and dismissing rumours, director Rajkumar Hirani has told TIMES NOW that Sanjay Dutt's absence will not deter him from continuing with his Munnabhai series.

Hirani has conquered a zillion hearts by creating a character who has become a modern day ideal. But while the rumour mills have been abuzz with the news that he has decided not to make any more Munnabhai films, the man himself set to rest all speculation with this assurance:

"Now let me correct this once and for all - I am definitely going to do a Munnabhai. I have never said otherwise. This is a quote which was said a year back when Munnabhai released and at that time I had said enough. But I do not know why that quote has come back," said Hirani.

That is sure to put those rumours to rest and also help all Munnabhai fans sigh in relief - but we wonder, other than rubbishing those rumours, what else has the director been up to?

"Right now I am scripting a film with the working title 'Idiots' - it's a little satire on what success mean to people in this country," said Hirani.

While Hirani the director is busy penning down scripts, a little birdy had also informed us that the new 'chocolate boy' of B town, Ranbir Kapoor, will be the male lead in his next film. That's not all, even a film with the Badshah of Bollywood was in the pipeline - but Rajkumar Hirani wasn't about to spill the beans...

"I have not signed anybody yet - there is no Ranbir who has been signed for this...Shahrukh did once talk about doing a film, but as of now there is nothing in the pipeline," insisted Hirani.

Mr Hirani, with so many rumours floating around you, you sure seem to be a busy person rubbishing them all. May be it's high time we see something from your stable!
