Best upcoming for Kareena Kapoor in 2008

After being in news more for her personal life than films in 2007, Kareena Kapoor is looking forward to sink herself in work in the coming year.

She scripted an almost perfect story of love lost and found on her personal front in the year gone by. Just a few months after she swore to be with Shahid Kapur , come hell or high water, she drifted away from her dimpled boyfriend and fell in love with divorced Saif Ali Khan . And the biggest irony is that the separation between Bebo and Shahid took place in the days leading to the release of their most successful romantic film together Jab We Met .

Her only release in 2007, JWM brought Kareena praises for her amazing performance as an outspoken Punjabi girl unsure about the guy she loves.

However, the year also saw Kareena shoot for the Yashraj Film Tashan in which she is paired with Saif. Going by the promos, Bebo has a very sultry and stylish look in this action thriller.

Presently, Kareena is shooting for her first comedy film Golmaal Returns in which she plays the wife of Ajay Devgan . The film has Bebo playing a housewife who is addicted to Ektaa Kapoor’s serials so much that she begins suspecting her husband after watching such episodes on TV.

Apart from this, Kareena is super excited about Kambakht Ishq in which she plays a high society girl. What thrills Bebo the most is that she is paired with Akshay Kumar in the film.

The next year may also see Kareena acting with John Abraham for the first time. If you recall, on Karan Johar’s chat show Kareena had singled out John as one actor who she would not like to work with because she found him “expressionless”. But now, the belle herself has said that she would love to work with John if a good project comes along. Well, a filmmaker is planning one such project.

Speaking about the coming year, Kareena says: “My next year is going to be exceptionally busy. I would love to go on a holiday in January but my mom says now is the time to work hard, I can always holiday later.”

Looking forward to see more of you next year, Bebo.
