Priyamani Makes up to the bollywood



Priyamani has made it to the wishlist of many producers and directors after winning the coveted National Award and Filmfare award (south) for her superb performance in ‘Paruthiveeran’.

Priyamani’s six years of struggle in the film industry down south is reaping fruits. She has recently been getting feelers from Shankar who might sign her for his next film after Robot starring Aishwarya Rai and Rajnikant .

She also has a Telugu and a Malayalam film in her kitty.
Now, Priyamani is set to make a foray into Bollywood with Mani Ratnam ’s next bilingual film starring Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya in lead roles. To be made in Hindi and Tamil, the movie would also star Govinda .

Priyamani, who has acted in more than a dozen films downsouth, says she is nervous about working with Abhishek, whom she confesses to have adored as a fan.

In south she recently signed Bharath’s upcoming film ‘Aarumugham’ to be directed by Suresh Krishna.
